What kind of photos should I upload?
Any clear photo works! You can take photos of items laid flat, on hangers, or even while wearing them. Better lighting = better recognition, but our AI is trained to handle various photo conditions.
How long does it take to organize my wardrobe?
Upload time depends on your wardrobe size. Most users upload 20-50 items in 10-15 minutes. The AI processes each photo instantly, so your digital wardrobe is ready as soon as you finish uploading.

How does the AI clothing recognition work?
Our AI uses deep learning computer vision models trained on millions of fashion images. It analyzes each photo to identify: clothing type (shirt, dress, pants), color (including shades), style (casual, formal, boho), patterns (stripes, floral, solid), and material (denim, cotton, leather). The process is automatic and takes just 1-2 seconds per item.
How accurate is the clothing recognition?
Our AI achieves 95%+ accuracy for clothing type and color identification. For style and pattern recognition, accuracy is around 90%. The AI is continuously improving through machine learning. You can always manually edit any details if needed.
Can the AI recognize designer brands?
While our AI focuses on clothing type, color, and style rather than brand recognition, it can identify distinctive design elements. Brand information can be added manually for items you want to track specifically.
How does outfit matching work?
Our AI analyzes your wardrobe and suggests outfit combinations based on: color harmony (complementary and analogous colors), style consistency (matching casual with casual, etc.), seasonal appropriateness, and occasion suitability. It uses fashion theory and data from successful outfit combinations.
Can I teach the AI my personal style preferences?
Yes! The more you use Closette, the more it learns. When you mark outfits as favorites or frequently wear certain combinations, the AI adapts suggestions to match your personal style preferences.

Absolutely! Closette lets you filter and search by occasion: work, wedding, date night, casual, party, interview, travel, etc. The AI suggests appropriate outfit combinations for each occasion.
Can I share my wardrobe with others?
Currently, wardrobes are private to each user. We're working on sharing features for future updates, including stylist collaboration and friend outfit inspiration.
Does Closette work for men's clothing too?
Yes! Our AI recognizes both men's and women's clothing. The outfit suggestion algorithms work for all genders and style preferences.
Can I track what I wear?
Yes! Mark outfits as "worn" to track your wearing patterns. This helps identify items you love vs. items taking up space. Analytics show your most-worn pieces and help optimize future purchases.
Can I create a capsule wardrobe with Closette?
Definitely! Closette is perfect for capsule wardrobes. Tag essential pieces, see which items create the most combinations, and identify gaps. Our AI suggests which items would maximize your outfit options.

Are my photos private and secure?
Absolutely. Your photos are encrypted both in transit and at storage. Only you can access your wardrobe. We never share, sell, or use your data for advertising. Your privacy is our top priority.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, anytime. You have full control over your data. Delete individual items, your entire wardrobe, or your account completely with one click. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
Do you use my photos to train the AI?
No. We train our AI models on publicly available fashion datasets and stock photography, never on user-uploaded photos. Your wardrobe images remain completely private.
Where are my photos stored?
Photos are stored on secure cloud servers with enterprise-grade encryption (AES-256). Servers are located in protected data centers with regular security audits and backups.

Free Plan: $0/month (unlimited items + 50 AI conversations/month). Premium Plan: $4.99/month or $49/year (unlimited AI chatbot conversations + all advanced features). Annual plan saves you $10. No credit card required for free plan.
Do I need a credit card for the free plan?
No! Start using Closette immediately without any payment information. Upgrade to premium whenever you're ready, no pressure.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, cancel with one click anytime. No long-term contracts or cancellation fees. After canceling premium, you can continue using the free plan with your first 50 items.
What happens if I exceed the free plan AI chat limit?
After 50 AI conversations in a month, you'll be prompted to upgrade to Premium ($4.99/mo) for unlimited chat. Your limit resets monthly. All your wardrobe data remains accessible - only AI chat is limited on free plan.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes! If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days of a paid plan, we offer a full refund, no questions asked. Just contact support.
Are there student or non-profit discounts?
Yes! Students get 50% off with a valid .edu email. Non-profits get 30% off. Contact support@closette.fashion with verification.

Does it work offline?
Core browsing works offline once loaded. However, uploading new items and AI suggestions require an internet connection for processing.

JPEG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC (iPhone). Max file size: 10MB per image. The AI automatically optimizes images for fast loading.

Is there a mobile app coming?
